I would love to see a new “Map View” option added alongside the existing List View and Board View for Deals.
Concept:
Add a Map View tab that displays all deals with a valid address on an interactive map (Google Maps or similar mapping service). Each deal would appear as a pin on the map, allowing sales teams to visually see where all opportunities are located geographically.
Benefits:
-
Quickly identify clusters of opportunities in specific areas.
-
Plan sales routes and in-person visits more efficiently.
-
Spot territories with strong or weak pipeline coverage.
-
Improve field sales productivity by grouping nearby appointments and prospects.
-
Provide a visual representation of pipeline health across a city, state, or region.
Suggested Features:
- Color-Coded Pins
Allow users to choose how pins are color-coded, including:
-
Deal Stage
-
Won / Lost Status
-
Probability to Close
-
Deal Value Range
-
Sales Representative
-
Custom Fields
- Pin Size Customization
Allow pin size to represent:
-
Deal Value
-
Estimated Revenue
-
Probability to Close
-
Days in Pipeline
- Interactive Deal Details
Clicking a pin would display:
-
Company Name
-
Deal Name
-
Deal Value
-
Current Stage
-
Deal Owner
-
Address
-
Last Activity Date
-
Quick Actions (Call, Email, Open Deal)
- Filters
Allow users to filter the map by:
-
Pipeline
-
Stage
-
Deal Owner
-
Date Created
-
Won/Lost
-
Deal Size
-
Custom Fields
- Territory Visualization
Optional feature:
-
Heat maps
-
Territory boundaries
-
Zip code analysis
-
Revenue concentration overlays
Use Cases:
-
Commercial roofing companies managing projects across a metro area.
-
Field sales teams planning daily routes.
-
Real estate professionals tracking opportunities geographically.
-
Service-based businesses with territory management needs.
-
Franchise and multi-location sales organizations.
This feature would provide a powerful visual way to manage and analyze pipelines and would be a natural complement to the existing List and Board views. I was approached by an app, RepMove which maps out your deals, and it gave me the idea that we need this in Salesmate.
