Filter Last Communication by specific user/filtering out marketing mails

I thought this topic was already on here but cannot find it so am posting as an urgently required feature.
When you filter Contacts or Companies by Last Communication date the results include marketing emails sent (from ‘salesmate bot’) which hugely skews the results so you cannot tell when the last time a human sent/received a communication
There is no way to filter by user or to filter out the ‘salesmate bot’ - we really need this.

I have discussed with Kay earlier this year so am very interested to hear if this is already on the development pipeline.

Many thanks,

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

You’re absolutely right, seeing the Salesmate Bot in the Last Communication filter can make it tricky to track real human conversations.

The good news is that there’s a way around it. You can use the “Last Communication By” filter and simply type in the name of the user. That way, you’ll only see communication done by that person and the bot won’t be part of the results.

I’ve attached a screenshot to show how it works. Let me know if you’d like help trying it out or if you have any other questions.

Always happy to help.

Hi, I just checked this and it was not possible to check within the results, e.g., for example if the last time Helen sent an email to Contact A was 2nd Feb and since then the contact has been sent a marketing email by the salesmate bot, then the Helen message does not show up when I put ‘Helen’ in the ‘Last communication By’ column - at least not when i was doing this in the Companies module

Hello Sharon,

Thank you for checking and describing the case here, we will definitely check the case with our team and if possible we will add some workaround and let you know.

Thank you for the response.
