Option to remove Email Campaign & Email template wrappers and injected code

We love the CRM side of things, but the email campaign builder is actively hurting our brand.

We send to a very small (-700), highly engaged list of sommeliers and wine directors (70 % open rates, zero spam complaints ever). Everyone is on modern devices and inboxes (iPhone Gmail/Apple Mail, Spark, Superhuman, etc.).

Every time we import a clean, responsive template (BeeFree, Stripo, etc.), Salesmate wraps it in a fixed 600 px table container and strips out Google Fonts. This breaks mobile stacking and forces fallback fonts — the exact opposite of what our audience expects from a premium natural-wine brand in 2025.

We’re not a cold-outreach team worried about Outlook 2007 or spam filters — we just want beautiful, modern emails that look the way we designed them.

Please add a simple toggle in the campaign HTML editor:
“Disable wrapper / send raw HTML” (opt-out of the forced sm-row / sm-email-table container and font stripping)

HubSpot, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, and even Pipedrive all offer this option. It would take us (and many other design-focused customers) from frustrated with the email builder to delighted evangelists overnight.

Thanks

Hello Rich,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. we truly appreciate the detailed insights. We’re glad you love the CRM side of Salesmate and understand the frustration with the email campaign builder affecting your template design, mobile stacking, and fonts.

I’ve shared your request for a “Disable wrapper / send raw HTML” toggle with our product team. While I can’t provide an immediate timeline, your suggestion is being seriously considered for future improvements.

Thanks again for helping us improve Salesmate.
