It was be convenient to set a default email for specific Sequences. Often the same Sequences are sent from the same email (Team Inbox vs Personal) so it would be very convenient to pre-select the default so that you do not have to manually do it each time.

Thanks for the suggestion! We understand the convenience of setting a default email (SMTP) for specific Sequences, especially when working across Team Inboxes and personal emails.
Currently, since Sequences can be shared (Public/Private), anyone with access can enroll contacts. Assigning a default SMTP at the Sequence level could raise privacy concerns—especially if a user selects an SMTP they don’t personally own, leading to potential reply or access issues.
As an alternative, we recommend using Smart Flows to trigger Sequences. This allows you to dynamically assign the appropriate SMTP based on the record or Sequence ownership, ensuring both automation and compliance with email permissions.
