I was having an issue with transcription working and the “update” I received was the feature being retracted… Customer support stated the following:
“We’d like to inform you that the Call Transcription feature, which was previously available across all plans to ensure a consistent user experience, will now be included only in the Pro and above plans . This change is effective from May 1, 2025 .”
If I upgrade the account to Pro, what is stopping you all from doing this again?

You’re absolutely right to expect clarity, and I’d like to provide more context around the Call Transcription feature change.
This feature was originally planned as part of our new pricing structure and was intended to be available only on Basic and higher-tier plans. However, as part of our Beta rollout, we had temporarily enabled Call Transcription across all plans including Legacy Plans to gather user feedback and ensure stability.
During our routine product testing and system review, we discovered that the feature was mistakenly still active on the Growth Plan (Legacy), even after the beta phase concluded. To align with our intended plan structure, we have since corrected this and restricted access to Basic and above plans as of May 1, 2025.
We completely understand your hesitation and appreciate you raising the concern about future plan changes. Please rest assured we are committed to maintaining transparency and stability around our feature availability moving forward. Any future changes will be communicated proactively and well in advance.
If you decide to upgrade to the New plans, Call Transcription will remain available as part of your active subscription under our current plan terms.
